Othered Bodies!
Walking into a healthcare clinic can be intimidating in the best of circumstances. For those of us who don’t fit in, needing care can cause anxiety and avoidance.
We’ve all had experiences with providers, ranging from well-meaning doctors who don’t understand the nuance of our communities to judgmental or dismissive providers who couldn’t see past your presentation, pronoun or job title to really listen.
When we need healthcare where do we go?
Asha is a welcoming, affirming, and community-minded place for all bodies. Our practitioners strongly believe in an integrated, team approach to healthcare. We offer chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, counseling and more.
Every patient deserves to be comfortable in their body and get the best out of life.
